ZTE Agribusiness Company Limited (Hereby refers to “ZAC”) was established in Beijing in 2007 with the registered capital of RMB 1.29 billion. ZAC develops its business in crop plantation and development, bio-energy R&D, as well as the capital operation and management, etc. As one of the major shareholders, ZTE CORPORATION devoted itself to the exploration of agriculture and bio-energy fields as early as in 2006 and established ZTE Agribusiness Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZAC and the major technology platform, ZTE Agribusiness Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. has a senior expert team, multiple proprietary technologies and scientific research achievements.

In active response to the slogan “Going Global” in agriculture from Chinese government, ZAC takes the establishment of large-size comprehensive agricultural planting and processing base abroad as well as the projects operation as its strategic plan, to realize the sustainable development of agriculture. Most of our projects are located in Africa and Southeast Asia, which combine long-term projects with short ones, taking palm planting as the long-term business while planting short-term crops, such as corn, cassava, etc. in accordance with the local characteristics. ZAC sticks to the principle of mutual benefit and taking advantage of each other, takes the privilege of our specific advantages, such as abundant capital, advanced technology and brilliant talents, and explores the overseas crop and bio-energy markets actively and moderately.
